Yayasan MENDAKI will be organising Mini PlayFest @ Heartlands on this Sunday, 30 June 2019 at Yishun Town Square from 10am to 3pm.
Darul Makmur Mosque aLIVE Madrasah Department will also be conducting activities and setting up our booth during this event.
Objectives of this Mini Playfest:
• To generate awareness on the importance of play and its role in the holistic development of children, advocate and empower parents with play-based approach in learning through MLE (mediated learning experience) techniques
• To provide ideas in setting up a stimulating and appropriate learning environment at home
• To develop critical thinking and reasoning skills among young children
• Share with parents tips in creating a conducive learning environment at home through play
Parents, guardians and their children between the age of 0-9 years are welcome. No registration and free of charge.
– Different zones will be available for the children and parents to participate on the different developmental skills
– Parents and their children would be encouraged to visit all the zones and engage in the activities
-Each family would be able to redeem a goodie bag, once they have engaged in the activities
