Position Summary
The Division Head will be responsible for both strategic leadership and hands-on management of religious and community initiatives. Oversee Islamic learning, youth engagement, family enrichment, and social service programs, ensuring alignment with the mosque’s vision and community needs.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:
8-10 years of leadership experience managing diverse teams in
religious affairs, community development, or social services.
Skills:
– Strategic planning & program management.
– Strong leadership and people management skills.
– Budget management and resource allocation expertise.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
– High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and communities
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies for religious and community programs.
- People & Team Management – Lead and mentor teams in religious affairs and community development.
- Religious Program Oversight – Oversee Islamic learning initiatives, religious outreach, and interfaith engagement.
- Community Development – Manage youth, family, and social service programs, ensuring strong community engagement.
- Financial & Budget Management – Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Foster strong relationships with religious leaders, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure programs comply with regulations and address social and religious concerns effectively.
- Continuous Improvement – Innovate and enhance program effectiveness to meet evolving community needs.
