We are looking for a dedicated and engaging Muslimah Executive (Religious Advancement) to nurture Islamic learning and spiritual development among our Muslimah congregants. This role involves delivering religious classes and programmes, providing guidance and pastoral support, and working closely with volunteers and mosque teams to create meaningful learning experiences for the community.
Requirements & Competencies:
- Diploma or Degree in Islamic Studies or a recognised equivalent qualification.
- ARS Tier 1 certification is required.
- Passionate about Islamic education, dakwah and community engagement.
- Confident in public speaking and conducting religious classes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and deliver Islamic classes, talks, workshops and religious programmes for Muslimah
congregants across different age groups. - Conduct public lectures, tazkirah, seminars and community engagement programmes, and prepare
relevant and engaging teaching materials. - Facilitate discussions and respond to religious enquiries within the scope of recognised Islamic
teachings. - Provide basic religious counselling and pastoral support, referring complex matters to senior Asatizah
where appropriate. - Mentor volunteers and work with internal departments to organise religious events, outreach initiatives
and educational programmes. - Maintain programme records and reports, and ensure programmes are delivered in accordance with
MUIS guidelines and mosque policies.
